Airtronics Blazer Sport    |   Futuba Sport    |   Hitec Lynx AM
Who takes the win?  Lets see

Which is best you say?  Its been a question around for awhile now.  Most RTR's come with a sport radio, probably one of these.  Most don't like sport radio's at all, but they don't have to be bad.  For the price you cant beat them!  This will be 3 reviews in one and then we will see who wins.

Airtronics Blazer Sport- A good solid radio.  It is designed very nicely.  Fits almost every hand.  Well balanced and can be sat on the ground and it will stay straight up.  It has a charge jack just like the other 3.  Has 3 led lights for the battery status.  It is cool and its related to the M8 so why not like it.  The receiver that comes with it is very small and blue.  At least the one I got is.  Z connector servos also usually come with it.  Good torque for sport servos 60oz on mine.

Futuba Sport- Futuba is the ruler of the radio world, right?  Well probably but that ddoesn't mean its always the best.  Its an ok design on the Futuba sport.  It fits most hand sizes but its not all that well balanced.  And you can set it down without it falling.  The batteries are also very hard to get out if you use Alkaline batteries and you need to get them out.  Receiver is a standard size and its got a cool place to store your antenna if you need to take it off.  This one uses an analog battery checker, not as cool as LED and you can tend to leave it on but it probably saves battery life since it doesn't have to light up anything.

Hitec Lynx AM- Hitec is a great company.  Good warranty's and very futuristic company, I mean look at the Lynx 3D for example.  Well this radio isn't nearly as good as the 3D.  It doesn't fit very many hand sizes.  Its tough for large hands.  Its not well balanced and its dull.  Nothing too it really.  There is a cool place to store the antenna but that's about it.  Oh and the foam wheel is kinda nice.  This radio also has LED lights to show how dead the batteries are dead.

THE VERDICT - It's tough to say.  But definitely in my opinion the Airtronics is the best one.  With the small receiver and nice servos and cool sleek look you cant beat it.  2nd would have to go to the Futuba sport just because of the design and fact that the lynx isn't any better.  So if you need a sport radio get the Airtronics blazer sport.  The servo torque is just an added bonus.
