One downside to R/C is the dirt and grime that gets all over our R/C's, especially nitro.
But there are things that you can do to keep your R/C clean.
First, I want to show you what you can use to clean them:
Old tooth brush (for those hard to reach places)
Rag
Air Compressor (the easiest way and possibly the best way to clean it)
Add Simple Green to the tooth brush to clean tires, at the same time it adds a stick to them for better grip!
We also suggest that you use some of the specially formulated r/c cleaners that are out there (Traxxas, HPI make them) these are mostly for Nitro
NEVER use any liquid on electronics, Duh.
You can use special motor drops if you want but they are not necessary (Trinity is great for these)
If and when you clean bearings and Transmission always re-lube or re-oil when you are done cleaning.
For Nitro engines use fuel filters (dubro*, Kyosho*, great planes*) and After Run Oil (Hobbico*)
With these tips and some work its is easy to get and keep your R/C clean and looking new again!
