I'll tell you what's better, a working esc. I bought this esc 2 years ago. It was cheap and had reverse. I though it was ok. At first it was, but any car I put it in was slow. It ran super hot even with a stock motor. It says only to use with a stock motor but who listens. I used a 16 turn motor on it a couple of times. Anyways eventually with a 17 turn speed gem 2 it fried. Burnt up, the transistors burned up. For the time I had it I guess it was ok, better then a MSC but not all that much better. I suggest you get a better ESC if you can, but if you cant and your ONLY going to run stock motors then thens esc is ok.
