Traxxas Stampede Specs etc. By Nick McCoy......
In the past, performance wasn't a requirement for monster trucks. As long as
the truck looked big and bad, no one cared if it was slow or heavy. That was
then. Now is Stampede, the first high-performance monster truck. It has the
heart and thunder of a grizzly, with the speed and agility of a cheetah. The
chassis is pure monster, with its reinforced channel design, fiber-composite
materials, and unsurpassed ground clearance. The suspension is pure race,
with track-tuned geometry and the fully-adjustable oil-filled shocks of a
competition-level race truck. The result is the ultimate Monster Race Truck.

The Stampede is loaded with features, such as a new wide-ratio transmission
with ball bearings; adjustable slipper clutch; high-torque, Stinger 20-turn
motor; and a super-strong, planetary-gear differential, which uses metal
gears to handle real-world abuse. Giant, soft-compound, monster-mudder tires
provide great traction on dirt and rocks. The body comes pre-trimmed to
eliminate the hassle of cutting it out. Stampede is available as an
easy-to-assemble kit, so you can experience the satisfaction of building it
yourself. The fully-assembled, ready-to-run version of the Stampede includes
our powerful, pistol-grip radio system. Drive it on a track. Drive it in
your backyard. You're in control of your own outdoor adventure.

The Stampede an Ultimate Jumping Rc Truck. You can hop it up fully unlike
the cheap rc's you had as a "kid" those Nikko rc's you have in your room you'll
want to throw them away when you see this truck. It has had reviews by many
rc magazines or at least many times. This truck runs at TowerHobbies for
104$ to 200$ kit to RTR. The Stampede goes 18 mph stock and when hopped up
can go up to 80 mph but don't expect that out of the box. The Rustler is its
little brother and the T-maxx is its big bro. The Stampede is worth the extra 50$
more that your radio shack car because it lasts longer and you will love it.

Building Tips:
I didn't build my Pede but I did take it apart for my bearings.
If you get a Pede kit buy bearings too. That way you don't have to take it
apart for later hop ups. When you put the bearings in it make sure to push
them in all the way or you will have problems when you go off those 10 foot
jumps (I know) The shocks that come with it will work for a while but if
you want the big jumps get the Traxxas Big Bore shocks they will last a lot
longer. The tires are OK and the body is too. My Pede has many hop ups for a
total of $700. Don't expect to run this stock for a long time....
This truck has many aftermarket parts for it too. You can go to a hobby shop
and get shocks, bodies, tires, etc for it.  When you get tired of it get the
Nitro Pede.... :) Nick(moderator on message board and a co co co owner of

Hello, this page is for my Stampede. I have a lot of hop up parts on my Stampede it has Traxxas Chrome Rims, Proline Masher 2000 tires, an Andy's Ranger splash body, Pactra orange paint and green stripes(I used pin striping for the windows and the stripes), a blue Rpm Esc mount, yellow gear cover and fatboy chrome tailpipes. Also it has ESP lights and a bumper, a Trinity Sapphire 17 turn motor, a custom body lift and shock boots made by yours truly, a LRP F-1 Esc,Trinity neon antenna tubes and last of all a full Duratrax Ball Bearing set. I own a Duratrax Pit ramp now.  I plan on adding Duratrax gold shocks,a suspension lift(custom)chrome Agitator rims,a slipper clutch, servo saver, anodized anything, roll bar and lights,Robinson gears, and scale suspension limiters.
This is the Pede completely stock.
This is all of my trucks except for my Hummer together.
This is my Stampede before I painted it.

This is my Pede beside my TL01.See the tires size????
